‍ ‍Caleb Melek: Young Warrior in the Desert

BCaleb Melek reached out to Banah Global through our website from one of the most remote and difficult mission fields imaginable. This is his story, in his own words.

My Ministry Journey

My journey in ministry began on the streets, where I started sharing the Gospel and reaching out to young people, often serving alone with nothing but faith and a burden for souls.

As I continued to seek God, I felt His call to step beyond the streets and go into the remote desert communities to take the Gospel to people who have had limited access to the message of Jesus. In obedience, I came to this field as a volunteer missionary, trusting God to use my life for His purpose.

Today, through evangelism, youth ministry, prayer, and discipleship, we are seeing people encounter Jesus, receive Christ, and begin turning their lives toward Him. We serve in a very remote and challenging environment, where poverty is widespread, the climate is extremely dry and hot, and deeply rooted traditional practices have affected the community's development.

Despite these challenges, we remain here by faith and obedience, believing that the Gospel can bring hope, transformation, and a new future. Our desire is to see young people discover their purpose in Christ and entire communities experience the love and power of God.

"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15 (KJV)

This is more than a ministry to me. It is a calling. I am trusting God to continue using us to reach the unreached, raise young people for Christ, and bring lasting transformation to these communities.

ig Ideas, Real Impact.

Caleb Melek reached out to Banah Global through our website from one of the most remote and difficult mission fields imaginable.

He didn't begin with resources or support. He began on the streets, sharing the Gospel with young people, often entirely alone, carrying nothing but faith and a burden for souls. When God called him further, into remote desert communities where the climate is punishing and deeply rooted traditions have resisted change for generations, he went in obedience, trusting God to use his life for a purpose bigger than his circumstances.

Caleb is already doing the work. People are encountering Jesus. Young people are discovering purpose. Communities are beginning to change.

But Caleb himself is hungry.

A young man giving everything he has to reach the unreached often struggles simply to eat. This is the real cost of obedience in a place like this, not a metaphor, not a distant statistic, but a young missionary's actual daily reality.

This partnership is new. Banah Global found Caleb the way we hope every faithful, overlooked laborer eventually gets found, through a door he opened himself.

Your gift provides what Caleb needs most urgently right now: food, basic sustenance, and the ability to keep standing in the gap he has already given his life to. As this relationship grows, that support will grow to include training and ministry resources as well. But today, the need is immediate and human.

Equip a young warrior. Help Caleb eat, so he can keep doing the work God has called him to. Please note that your donation is for Caleb.
